Douglas Brinkley is a consultant and on-air commentator for various television channels and is the author of three New York Times Notable Books of the year. He is the professor of history at the University of New Orleans and director of its Dwight D. Eisenhower Center for American Studies. Co-author and decorated Vietnam War veteren Ronald J. Drez is a lecturer, historian, and reserch associate at the Eisenhower Center, where he works to preserve the voices of men who faught in World War II.
